Welcome to our Tap History page! This page has links to many sources for learning about tap dance history and culture. It started as a list of references for the information in Module 4 of our Basic Beginner Tap Dance Course. While listing the references, we found so much more information! So of course we added it!
Here at Tappy Feet, we love learning and teaching about all aspects of tap dance. We think it’s very important to respect the history and roots of this amazing art form, and that’s what we aim to do with this page.
